Whether you’re facing health concerns, emotional distress, workplace or family conflict, or issues affecting your performance, our team of Welfare Liaison Officers and pilot volunteers is here to help - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How We Help

Our Welfare volunteers are trained in peer support and counselling at a non-professional level. When expert assistance is required, we can refer you to appropriate professional services, including doctors, psychologists and other trusted specialists within our extended network.

We work closely with AIPA’s internal resources and external partners to ensure every member receives the right support, at the right time.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Any personal or sensitive information shared with the AIPA Welfare Team - including your identity - remains confidential within the team.

Information will only be used or disclosed if:

1. Required or authorised by law, or for enforcement-related activities;
2. Necessary to ensure your safety or the safety of others; or
3. You have provided written consent.

For continuity of care, the Welfare Team maintains confidential notes stored securely in accordance with AIPA’s Privacy Policy.

If you have any concerns about confidentiality, you are encouraged to discuss them with the Welfare Team before disclosing personal information.
